Was Sims 3 Really Leaked?

There was a lot of buzz this weekend that the new Sims 3 could be found all over the torrent and piracy sites. It was scheduled for release by Electronic Arts on June 2 and this could lead to a massive loss in profits if true.

It is hard to tell if these rumors are real or just that, rumors. You can see Sim 3 on torrent sites but downloading actual files from sites such as these can be a waste of time. The file I found labeled Sims 3 was very small, only 4gb, and didn't risk downloading it due to risk of viruses.

One thing for sure is Electronic Arts and publisher Maxis must be really pissed. You can see these files at The Priate Bay and Mininova if they are still up.
